The Bharatiya Samaja Seva Trust® is a Non-Profit, Non-Government, Non-Religious Public Charitable Trust Established in the year 2000, by Social thinker and Renowned Environmentalist Shivamallu in memory of his beloved mother Smt. Jayamma who passed away by throat cancer in the year 1996, based on his article ‘Gnana Chintane’ – ‘Social Service a Necessity Why?’ which was published in the bulletin of Indian Institute of World Culture, Bengulur in the year of April 1998
The core focus of the trust is to establish and to develop health, education, peace and happiness through environment conservation, capacity building, improving socio-economic conditions by natural resources management, skill development, women and community empowerment for overall global betterment towards control of pollution and its fatal diseases like asthma, cancer, blood pressure, heart weak and heart attack, diabetics etc., including control of global warming, ozone depletion, tsunami, earth quake etc.,
Bharatiya Samaja Seva Trust® has been a pioneer in the field of Environment Awareness, Education and Protection Services in Karnataka and has already created and organized 3800 varieties of Eco-Awareness, Education, and Protection Service Project based programmes at schools and colleges, general public, women and formers under different movement based on the experience idea, thoughts and directions of our legends, dignitaries, mentors, experts and honourable guest which includes cleanliness, sapling distributions, plantations, competition, Prize distribution, Rallies, Cycle rally, Nature watch, Forest watch, Bird watch, Water watch, Green is breath, Group discussions, Eco-Club formation, Eco-Exhibitions, Quiz on save environment, Every day world environment day, Stage play on environment, Speak on environment, Song on environment, Eco-dress competition, Clean School–Green School, Plastic free Bangalore, Plastic free Hotel, Plastic free Karnataka, Seminars, Workshops, Training and student conference on Control Global Warming and Save Earth, Use solar energy to save energy, Green day celebration – Each one Plant one, Field studies, Memory of Chipco movement, publications, Celebrations of International World Environment Day, World Earth Day, World Ozone Day including honouring and presentation of ‘Environment Protection Award’ etc., to spread awareness and create interest among students, youth and women in particular and public in general.
Bharatiya Samaja Seva Trust® string hard to increase awareness and knowledge among local targeted groups including local community about various aspects of environment. All human beings mother is Nature. Nature provides Air, Water, Food etc., There is only one earth and one world. Though we have civilized to a great extent, we still fail to understand the Nature.
A big question! Why now-a-days many people are suffering from Asthma, Cancer, Heart problems, Blood pressure, Diabetics and other vulnerable deceases. Everyone strongly agree that this situation was not there about hundred years back. It is clearly evident that the present situation is mainly due to environment changes. It is the bountiful duties and responsibility of all of us to protect environment to live healthy and happily to that economic and poverty condition will improve.
To overcome the above, biodiversity conservation is required to be increased thereby unhealthy including birth and death diseases and poverty start decreasing. To achieve the healthy, happy and peaceful life of every one of us Trust has designed his own way of socio-economic, health, education and cultural service programmes and projects for which we need your valuable help and support of likeminded people, social thinkers, philanthropist, and in collaboration / association with Government and socially aware NGO’s, corporate sectors, companies who offer us the wealth and experienced expertise.
